IPEW26 Overview

The third Irish Public Economics Workshop will be held in Dublin on August 27 and 28, 2026. We are grateful to the Irish Economic Association, Trinity College Dublin Department of Economics, the Economic and Social Research Institute, and the UCD School of Economics for their support.

How to Submit a Paper

Paper submissions are managed through Microsoft CMT (Conference Management Toolkit), at https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/IPEW2026. Follow the steps below to register and submit your paper.


Step 1: Login or Register


Visit the page https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/IPEW2026. If you have an existing Microsoft CMT account, login. Otherwise click Register.



If new to CMT, you will be brought to this page to choose your password and confirm your email address. Your password must be at least 12 characters and include all of the following: lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols. 



Step 2 : Access the Author Console


Once logged in to https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/IPEW2026, make sure your role is set to Author (visible in the top-right menu bar) and that the conference is set to IPEW2026.


Step 3: Create a New Submission


Click the "Create new submission" button in the top-left area of the Author Console.



Fill in the required submission details (title, abstract, authors, subject areas, etc.). Upload your paper file (typically PDF).


Review your entry and confirm the submission.

IPEW’s goal is to connect researchers working in public economics and public policy, and to strengthen cross-institutional work on public economics in Ireland by bringing together academia, public administration, institutional research, and the private sector.
